From 18. November until 12. January, a new exhibition themed "It is a time for souls and angels" by Reet Heinla is shown in the Omicum gallery. The painting exhibition is romantic and like a fairy tale, setting the right mood for the upcoming Christmas season.
Reet Heinla was born in 1952 in Tallinn, graduated from Tallinn Secondary School of Science and Tallinn University of Technology. She married Uno Heinla during her third year at the university. Her son Horre was born also during that time. After graduating university, the family moved to Tartu, where they lived for four years. There, their daughter Helen was born.
In 1980 we moved to Valka, where I worked in a car garage. I finished my economist career as an assistant director of economics. After the birth of my third child, Hannaliisa, I made a career change - I opened my own flower shop named Sinilill, which I ran for 20 years.
Reet Heinla has been painting since 2005. She has attended many courses and studied different painting techniques - watercolour, pastel and oil painting. Since 2009, Heinla has remained faithful to oil paints as she says they are the best way to express herself.
Heinla has studied oil painting at the Tartu Folk High School and since 2014 she has been an active participant in the art studio "Suvi", under the guidance of Robert Suvi. Over the years she has had several solo exhibitions in Valga County, Pärnu, Tartu and Tallinn. She has also participated with her paintings in all the painting exhibitions of the art studio "Suvi" both in Estonia and abroad.
Reet Heinla's exhibition "It is a time for souls and angels" is the 40th exhibition at Omicum Gallery.
